THE FACE OF INTERNATIONAL BEAUTY

Check out Melissa, the gorgeous girl behind FancyFaceLove, getting glammed up with goodies she's received from around the world!

And be sure to go through all the other fun videos on her channel:

REVIEW: Rosette White Clay Cleansing Paste from Japan

I received this white clay cleansing paste from Kanae in my first Japanese swap last year and fell in love with it. Kanae mentioned it was one of her faves and I could instantly see why!

The product comes out dense and thick, but not soapy or sticky. A small dollop is all that's needed to lather over the face for a deep cleaning. I loved how it was unscented, and not abrasive. It left my skin feeling squeaky clean but not dried out. White clay absorbs excess sebum (the stuff that makes skin oily), and gently exfoliates dead cells. It's suitable for most skin types, even sensitive skin.

When I ran out of the tube she sent me, I was lucky enough to find a store in a nearby asian mall (Pacific Mall - Markham, ON Canada) that stocked it. This is now a staple in my cleansing routine.

What are your favourite cleansers?

BIRTHDAYS BEYOND BORDERS!

An exciting twist to our swapping adventures...

Each participant mails one item or items equalling a budget of $25US to a birthday girl each month. Then, when your birthday rolls around, you'll be receiving a stack of parcels from around the globe.

Wishlists aren't limited to beauty products for this, feel free to expand to whatever the birthday girl has her eye on.

We'll update this entry as other wishlists roll in:

ASTRID - UK

I'd love any of the following (but of course, it's just a wish list & I in no way expect these items):

Physician's Formula - Any, particularly Organic Jumbo Lash Mascara (the one in the green tub - in black); Sexy Booster products (the shoe design is too cute for words! I have the Happy Booster blush from my swap with the lovely Melissa and love it!)

UD Naked Basics Palette
Too Faced Beauty Editor Darlings / any Too Faced products

Any Bath and Body Works - I'd love candles but appreciate that they're probably very heavy to send. I've heard good things about the Black Cherry Merlot fragrance (not sure if this was just seasonal) & the warm milk and honey line

My favourite type of beauty product is blush, particularly cream formulas.

I'd love anything in cute, pretty packaging

I'm on the hunt for the perfect eyeshadow primer / base - I have the UD Primer Potion which I love but I'm interested in trying others to see how they compare. I also love cream eyeshadow formulas.

Anything from Sonia Kashuk - can never have enough brushes & I love the look of the eyeshadow quads (I prefer everyday neutrals or colours for creating a smokey eye)

Would love to try the Flower Beauty line

As seems to be something of a trend, I love "foodie" scents - I'm keen to try the new Chapsticks which are inspired by bakeries

Generally, I'd prefer not to receive skincare although a couple of exceptions would be that I'd love to try sheet masks (hydrating). I'd also love to try the famous Queen Helen Mint Julep mask & the Pacifica Coconut Water Cleansing Wipes (actually the entire Pacifica brand looks pretty fab)

If any of the Canadian ladies can feed my maple candies addiction, I'd really appreciate that! I'm coeliac so I have to follow a strict gluten free diet & unfortunately can't eat things like cookies, etc...

Thanks again - I'm really happy to be a part of this group & can't wait to try items from everyone's countries. I really enjoyed my shopping trip today - makeup buying without the guilt because it's a gift! x
